Roy Boulter is a writer, producer and director for TV, radio and film.
After initially finding fame as a member of Liverpool band The Farm, in the mid-1990s Roy turned to scriptwriting. He wrote for Jimmy McGovern’s BAFTA winning The Street as well as for TV shows including Eastenders, Hollyoaks and Brookside.
Roy is a BAFTA-winning film producer for Hurricane Films, where his credits include Sunset Song, Of Time And The City and A Quiet Passion.
He has written extensively for Radio 4 with credits including Queens of Noise and Lifestyles of the Trapped and Cabbaged.
