Before Bridget Christie, a show like Nanette would just have been lost.” In December 2019 the show was named as one of The Times comedy shows of the decade, with Times critic Dominic Maxwell saying, “Unless you spent years watching shows where rape and violence were lazy add-on gags, you’ll never know the relief of seeing Christie in 2013.”
Her 2014 tour, a double bill of A Bic for Her and an Ungrateful Woman, won the 2015 Chortle Award for Best Tour and in 2014 she was nominated for a British Comedy Award for Best Female TV comic for her performance on Have I Got News For You.
