In 2013 Bridget won the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show with her show A BIC FOR HER. The show also won the 2014 South Bank Sky Arts Award for Best Comedy, the 2014 Chortle Award for Best Show and a 2014 Hospital 100 Club Award for Performance and Theatre and broke box office records at Soho Theatre. In 2019, in an interview for The List Magazine, Nanette superstar Hannah Gadsby said of the show, “I absolutely could not have done Nanette without the work that she [Bridget Christie]did. A Bic for Her was a huge moment in Edinburgh Fringe history particularly for a female comic. Before Bridget Christie, a show like Nanette would just have been lost.” In December 2019 the show was named as one of The Times comedy shows of the decade, with Times critic Dominic Maxwell saying, “Unless you spent years watching shows where rape and violence were lazy add-on gags, you’ll never know the relief of seeing Christie in 2013.”
Her 2014 tour, a double bill of A Bic for Her and an Ungrateful Woman, won the 2015 Chortle Award for Best Tour and in 2014 she was nominated for a British Comedy Award for Best Female TV comic for her performance on Have I Got News For You.
In 2015 Bridget won a Marie Claire Woman at the Top Award and a Red Woman of the Year Award.

Also in 2016 Bridget’s debut live stand-up special, Stand Up for Her, produced by Baby Cow and the BBC, was streamed on Netflix across the globe, making her the first British female comedian with a stand up special on the streaming service.
Her debut BBC Radio 4 series, BRIDGET CHRISTIE MINDS THE GAP was broadcast in April 2013. It won Best Radio at the 2014 Chortle Awards and a prestigious 2014 Rose D’Or International Broadcasting Award for Best Radio Comedy. It was also nominated for a Radio Academy Award 2014. A second series was broadcast in January 2015 and again won the Chortle Award for Best Radio Programme. The ebook was a number 1 Amazon bestseller. It was also nominated for a 2016 Chortle Award for Best Book. A Spanish version was launched in Barcelona in 2017. In August 2015 she was interviewed by Richard E. Grant for the Penguin Podcast.
