Daniel first gained a following via his YouTube channel showcasing his characters, impressions and comedy writing. He has since gone on to make four series of his solo character comedy show The Damien Slash Mixtape for BBC Radio 4. As an actor he has appeared in Camping (2016), Red Dwarf XI (2016), Not Going Out (2019), Stath Lets Flats (2019), Ellie and Natasia (2022) and most recently appeared as Bob Harris in Danny Boyle's mini series Pistol (2022) for FX.
As a voice actor Daniel starred in SLIME by David Walliams (2020), Strike (2019), Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for Nintendo (2018) and played Dominic Cummings in Spitting Image (2021/2022). Daniel also made a recent cameo appearance on the Adam Buxton podcast talking about his role playing the "Silly Sausage" childrens toy that was featured on Ellen and Johnathon Ross.
