Her previous work includes Jazz FM's weekday mid-morning show, which boasted the highest daytime ratings on the station. Deb also presented a weekly late night show called the Late Lab, an exploration of weird and wonderful music she’d come across while digging for records around the world - everything from psychedelia to spoken word, field recordings, library music, gospel, calypso and other treasures.

Deb has over 20 years’ experience as a live DJ, with residencies at London’s Spiritland and The Social, main stage sets at Field Day and Love Supreme festival and slots supporting Norman Jay, MGMT and Gossip at Somerset House. As a voice over artist, Deb has credits for continuity announcing on BBC2, introducing programmes live to millions of viewers. Her various other voiceover jobs including ads for clients like Sky TV and the NHS.

She also has time to write a monthly music column for the Big Issue, and co-hosts a podcast called What Goes Around, essentially a pod for music nerds, and report on various international music destinations, most recently from Nashville promoting BA’s new direct route there, Aruba for the Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and a music lover’s Mississippi riverboat cruise in early 2023.
