Freya was winner of the Funny Women Awards with double Act ‘Thankless Child’ with Liz Black. In 2018, her debut solo character show, ‘Linda’ was very well received in Edinburgh. Freya performs improv regularly at the Free Association and was part of their House Team for their show ‘Jacuzii’ at Edinburgh Fringe 2016-18.

Freya Slipper has had shows in development with Big Talk and BBC Sounds, as well as written sketches for Baby Cow. Last year she was a showrunner and wrote on the critically acclaimed audio series ‘Crush Hour’ for Audible (starring Ellie Goulding and Douglas Booth). She currently has both a TV series and a musical in development with Izzy Mant at Mercury studios.
