Jon is an award-winning comedian, writer, producer and editor. His first comedy special ‘Sudden Death’ was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 In July 2022, and later in the year his new co-created panel show ‘The Ultimate Choice’, hosted by Steph McGovern will also air on BBC Radio.

In 2019 the second series of his political sitcom Lobby Land was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 with a cast including starring Charlie Higson, Yasmine Akram and Cariad Lloyd. In summer 2018 he performed his acclaimed debut live comedy show at the Edinburgh Fringe. It then transferred to the Soho Theatre (2019) and VAULT Festival in London (2020). His debut series as a writer/presenter, Could An Ancient Athenian Fix Britain? was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in 2020.

He produced Rob Newman's Entirely Accurate Encyclopaedia of Evolution and Total Eclipse of Descartes both of which were winners of Best Comedy at the BBC Audio Awards. Other credits include The Thick Of It, Have I Got News For You, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Glastonbury, The Revolution Will Be Televised, Only Connect, Comic Relief, Time Trumpet, Newsnight, Yes Minister, Dave Podmore, Lobby Land, The World of Simon Rich and Austentatious.

Jon has also written for publications including The Times, The Sunday Times, Private Eye, Paris Match, NME and Wisden’s journal The Nightwatchman. His debut novel is due out later this year.

He is also the human alter-ego of intergalactic politician Count Binface.
