Leila Navabi is a 22 year old comedian, screenwriter, producer and actor from South Wales.

She has written across many comedy titles for various UK broadcasters. She created the Radio 4 special 'BAMESHOW' which was received with great critical acclaim. It was dubbed 'mould-breaking, evidently sharp satire' by The Guardian. In 2021, she was asked to represent Wales in writing a short drama for the Radio 4 anthology series 'United Kingdoms'.

Leila most recently co-wrote the six-part BBC iPlayer series 'Vandullz', in which she also stars. It is due to air in the Winter of 2021.

She is quickly becoming a hot-ticket act on the UK stand-up circuit and has performed sets across shows including 'Stand Up in My House' The Leak' and 'Stand Up Sesh'. She will soon be appearing on BBC's 'Live from Aberystwyth Comedy Festival'.

She hosts CBBC series 'Don't Blame Me, Blame My Brain' alongside fellow comic Ken Cheng.

Leila has multiple projects currently in development both in the UK and internationally.

Poking fun at tokenism, unconscious bias and just plain old racism, Desiree and the cast go bravely (and mischievously) where others fear to tread. Joining Desiree are team captains Kemah Bob and Athena Kugblenu with panelists Glamrou and Ken Cheng... Producer: Leila Navabi A BBC Studios Production

Comedians Leila Navabi (Tourist Trap,The Leak with Tom Price), Priya Hall (Who Said That?) and Robin Morgan (The Now Show, Romesh Presents…) scour the internet for disturbing dilemmas to dish out advice and decide who’s to blame. Inspired by the notorious Am I the Asshole? Reddit thread, these three Welsh stand-ups discuss quandaries from “Is it ok if my partner doesn’t let me upstairs in the house we own together?” to “My friend refuses to make my dog a birthday cake and now we’re not speaking – is she overreacting or am I?”
