Lorna Watson is a British comedian, actress, presenter and writer. She is widely known for her leading role as the forensic-scientist nun in the hit series Sister Boniface Mysteries (BBC/BritBox). Originally appearing in Father Brown, the character’s popularity led to Lorna fronting her own successful spin-off, now in its fourth series.
Lorna is also one half of the acclaimed duo Watson & Oliver, alongside Ingrid Oliver. Together, they wrote and starred in two series of their sketch show for BBC Two. She has also had roles in cult classics like The IT Crowd, Midsomer Murders, and The Wrong Door, as well as an iconic portrayal of Boudicca in Horrible Histories.
In addition to her screen work, Lorna is an accomplished presenter and author, having recently published her debut children’s book, Rabbit on the Rampage.
