Robert Newman has been writing and performing comedy for radio, television and stage since the late eighties. He writes and performs regular BBC Radio 4 shows Rob Newman's Half Full Philosophy Hour, Total Eclipse of Descartes, The Entirely Accurate Encyclopaedia of Evolution, the latter two of which won the BBC Audio Drama Award for best comedy, as well as the natural history series The Extinction Tapes (or Where The Wild Things Were).
Rob tours regularly and extensively, most recently with The Philosophy Show. He has also written four novels and two non-fiction books. Seventeen years ago he coined the phrase No Planet B, which has since entered the language.
He can do all kinds of voices. All kinds.
