Rob Oldham
- Writers
Rob is a truly original and exciting young comic. He formed one fifth of The Cambridge Footlights in 2016, writing and performing in their critically praised sketch show 'Lagoon' at the Edinburgh Fringe and across an American tour.
Having started stand-up at university, Rob took his first show ‘Brink’ to Edinburgh in 2017 and whilst there picked up the prize for 'Breakthrough Comic' at The Amused Moose Comedy Awards. In 2018 Rob performed his first full hour ‘Worms Lament’, produced by Fight in the Dog & directed by Liam Williams and was featured in The Guardian’s top shows to see at the Fringe. In 2019 Rob’s follow-up Edinburgh show, Worm’s Resolve, had a sell-out run on the free fringe and saw Rob described as having ‘aplomb, brains and delivery beyond his years’ (Chortle 4*). Recently Rob has written and performed in his own BBC Quickie and BBC Life Lesson as well as performing in Liam Williams' BBC Sitcom 'Ladhood' and he has a few scripted projects in development.
