Shikira Porter

Shikira Porter is a screenwriter and published poet, she has spent time perfecting her craft working as a reader for various production companies and learning what makes a script work. Shikira’s work reflects the human experience in all its forms, drama, comedy, escapism and romance.

Shikira has a role as a script editor at Mammoth, and in June 2021, she wrote and starred in her own film for BBC Three's 'Laugh Lessons'.

Most recently, she has worked on the writing team for the new series of 'Sorry I Didn't Know', which came to ITV in October. She has also had a poem of hers put on display in the Tate Gallery.
